Happy Anniversary to my hubby! Eight awesome years together and the cutest baby ever invented makes me a happy lady :) I even have a vase fuuullll of beautiful flowers of which the spider daisy is my favorite!

Ok, ok to the important part of this post hehe. First of all, I must say sorry to my scrapping friends. I really should do another scrapping video but I really think that everyone will like this project :)

Father's Day Card

OK, finally a tutorial on a card. Although I am more a scrapper than a card maker I have recently been working on a lot of cards. And since it is almost Father's Day I thought a Father's Day card idea may be appreciated. I found this idea in a Stampin Up catalog and worked out the templates for myself. Hope you like it!

9"X4" scored in half at 4.5"

4"X5.5" shirt
Collar marked 1" from the top

Draw and cut out a tie

*You could fold the paper in half
and cut half a tie out
and open in up to the full tie.
This way it will be symmetrical.

Fold the collar down so that the top edge points down at an angle to touch the top of the tie.

Add eyelets, brads or buttons to the collar and adhere the shirt to your card!

PERFECTO!

6. Make a separate roof.

Distressing

I love distressing photos and paper. Giving that edge a little finishing touch to make it stand out. Here are a few ways to do it. Take a look!

OK, so that was quick!
Here is a recap :)

Nail file
Works great on patterned paper and
cardstock with a white core too!

Scissors
Gives the really distressed look!

Ink
Gives it that finished look.
